About the AuthorPati Chandler lives in Mishawaka, Indiana, with her husband and four cats. She is the mother of four children and grandmother of six. A diverse background of studies at the University of Indiana at South Bend in the 1980 s included a lot of classes in psychology, criminal justice, system of belief and journalism earning her an Associates Degree in General Studies.

From security work at the University, then at the security checkpoint at the local airport, she moved on to her real love working for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). In 1998, after nine years with the DNR, she contracted Fibromyalgia and was forced to leave her occupation and focus on her health. She now works thirty hours a week at a huge retail section store.

She enjoys reading and observing movies that leave a smile on her face. She is a tree-hugger and animal-lover, finding the joy and beauty in nature an inspiration for her writing.
